i have a problem with my complete sub(.ass file). it doesnt work anymore when it comes to tha part of 1:33:32. and it continue not playing sub until the end. how many downloads i make in this page it really doesnt work. can you please help me
It is cause the subs ends there. Each part is about half an hour. This is the 3rd part so it should be around 1 hour and 30 minutes worth of subtitles.
I have problems with the links in this web. I get adfly error while in others web that use adfly there is no problem with it. Is there a way to fix that? like i said I dont know why other adfly links work fine but this dont

Poor Tanaka. Making him cry and then kicking him while still crying. That was just too funny! Every year I say this is the funniest batsu so far, and I am saying it again this year with exhilaration and sincerity! Thank you guys SO much for subbing something that brings me so much laughter I have a sore throat!

I honestly came close when it was with Yamazaki’s kids. But with Tanaka I was already use to it, and I suspected the ending from the start; I was already getting giddy with laughter.

1:05:02 “Even though… plays with them, To their beloved father” <– I believe that comma is supposed to be a period
1:05:14 "He appears on Television,…" <– is television suppose to be capitalize?
1:05:41 The girl said something like "papa e." This line was not translated
1:05:45 from 1:05:00 to 1:04:41 you guys use the word "Dad" when the text shows "papa" However on this line you guys switched to "Papa." Just something I notice. I personally would like to see you guys use "Papa" the entire time.
1:06:09 "and that's thanks to Mum as well…" <– I say to keep it consistant use Mama? Since in lots of Japanese stuff I watch they use the term Papa and Mama a lot when refering to husband and wife or even their parents. Also on 1:06:36 you guys used the word "Papa" from then on too when the text says papa
1:06:09 "… but thanks to you Papa" <– Could be shorten to "but thank you Papa"
1:06:41 "The times when Papa is tired from work, and Momo wants to talk to you.." Not sure if you guys ran out of screen room or something. but you only have 2 dots at the end ".." instead of "…"
1:06:50 "and Papa, you have taught me how valuable family and friends are…." Now you guys have 1 too many dots at the end lol
1:07:07 "Do your best, Love you Papa, Year 5, Class A- Yamasaki Momo" Might I suggest replacing the command after "best" and "Papa" with a period??? Also for "Class A- Yamasaki" Might I suggest you changed it to "Class A – Yamasaki" When I first read it, i thought it was A minus
1:08:40 "Papa, thank you so much, I love you…" Might I suggest changing the comma after much to a period?
1:08:40 "… Yamasaki Ara" You guys forgot the R on her name? I seen it is spelt Rara by you guys a seconds earlier. A few seconds later, the kanji had some hiragana above it that spelt "Rara" as well

1:10:59 to 1:11:50 You guys use the word "football". At 1:11:52 you guys use the word "soccer" Maybe decided on either soccer or football and use one term only. Since I am an American, when i saw football, I thought you meant American NFL football. So i am bias toward using the term soccer for this part

1:12:16 "And you always put it in your draw…" <– Isn't it supposed to be "drawer"
1:15:58 "… living peacefully in Tokyo in the Showa times." <– I think it is more appropriate to use "… lliving peacefully in Tokyo during the Showa period/era"
1:21:20 to 1:21:45 The text is all clutter up, since you guys translate what is written in kanji/hiragana as well as subtitle what is being said. Might I suggest moving the translation of what is being said to the top of the window to make it easier to read.
1:22:58 You guys use 2 different title. In red "Under the chestnut tree" and in black "Under the Big Chestnut Tree" Also the capitalization is off too.
1:23:15 In red by Matsumuto "THis is actually not that bad.." two dots instead of three
1:25:32 In red by Matsumoto "His voice is so small.." two dots instead of three
1:29:24 "I dont' think i will lose.." two dots instead of three
1:30:31 "Ye he's right to be honest.." two dots instead of three and "Ye" <– suppose to be "Yes" right?
1:33:11 "Ye, that would have been better" <– once again you use "Ye" I dont get why you guys uses "Ye"
I most likely didn't catch all the errors but these are the one i notice. The first 10 minutes were text heavy so it took me over an hour to watch it and catch the errors lol. There were tons of sentence ending lines without a period too, but I thought it wasn't too much of a problem. Once again, i appreciate your work.

I am posting this error that i notice and see RIGHT AWAY before even finishing the 3rd segment:
You completely did not do the translation from 1:00:11 to 1:03:32
These 3 minutes are pretty crucial as it deals with Matsumoto’s drawer.

When I open the video with subtitles in Media Player Classic – Home Cinema I get some error messages before the video starts. It complains that it can not find the following 6 styles and that the style is set to Default instead. Missing styles: Red SIGN, Girl 1, Girl 2, Kid, table girl, YELLOW BOX.
When I open the .ass file in a text editor I can see that the subtitles use those styles but the styles are not defined at the start of the .ass file.
I recommend using VLC Media Player instead of Media Player Classic.
I can fix the .ass file myself in Aegisub and create those styles. I just don’t know what font, color, size etc the styles should have. If anyone on the translating team has that info and can provide it I would be really happy. Or is it ok to just use the style named “Default”?
I am also wondering how this could happen in the first place. It shouldn’t be possible if you use Aegisub. I open the .ass file in Aegisub and select a line with a missing style, for example style “Girl 1” on line 1600. If you look at the style combo box in Aegisub you see that the combo box has no style selected. When I click on the style combo box I can not see the style “Girl 1” anywhere. It is impossible for me to even select a style called “Girl 1” unless I create that style first.
That is why I am confused how this happened, did someone edit the files by hand instead of using Aegisub and therefore forgot to add those styles?
But either way, big thanks to the team doing the subs. I (and I think many more) really appreciate it!
This happens if the styles are only stored locally and not in the .ass file. Also Default should fit, even though it might not look as nice.
VLC Media Player!? WTF!? No one in their right mind, with any knowledge of .ass and encoding would ever recommend VLC! The styles are’t in the .ass and anyone using a proper, competent Media Player like Media Player Classic – Home Cinema or Zoom Player will get the same error! Also I don’t know what OS you are using to typeset but there are fonts that you used that don’t come installed on Windows OSs. I would like to suggest that you provide use with a .zip of all the fonts so those of us watching using the .ass can view your subs correctly.
